Sex with robots sounds like it hurts.  It’s cold and mechanical, there’s no intimacy.  Why would anyone want to have sex with a robot?

While it’s true that nothing will ever compare to the real thing, sex with robots totally makes sense.  We are already making crazy advancements in the fields related:

Teledildonics: Kiiroo and Fleshlight are designing products that allow for mechanical interaction while still feeling close to the real thing.  You can now stick your dick in a Fleshlight-like device and a girl somewhere in the world can stroke a dildo that will stroke your dick.  It’s closer to getting a hand-job than to having sex.  And did you see the Twerking Butt?

Virtual Reality: Recently, Badoink came out with their Virtual Reality headset with mass market appeal. They teamed up with porn powerhouse, Pornhub, to create a VR channel on pornhub, so that guys at home can feel like they are fucking a girl that isn’t in the room with them.

Artificial Intelligence: Along with the Amazon Echo, Siri, Cortana, or whatever AI programs people come up with, developers are making it really easy and seamless to interact with operating systems.  I haven’t heard of an adult operating system just yet, but it’s only a matter of time before the porn industry develops it.  I mean, we already jerk off to cartoons and programs that we interact with like Saboom and LifeSelector.

It seems like we’re working to the point where we don’t have to leave the house to have normal sex or to explore our wildest sexual fantasies. If this is the case, then wouldn’t a robot that feels like a woman, looks like a woman, and interacts like a woman be the ultimate goal?  Plus they would have an on/off switch, not sure how much better that could get.
